Thank You S.A.L.T.S.
Our final day on the sea was bitter sweet. We had another terrific day of sailing with good winds. However, it was hard to watch the hours pass by so quickly knowing our adventure was coming to an end very quickly. Final oral tests for the Sailor's Logbook were completed, final climbs up the mast and on the whiskers were challenged, title page and signatures in the log book were finalized, last minute conversation with friends were treasured, and our hearts were full of thankfullness to God and S.A.L.T.S. for this awesome experience.
Grade nines, we are very proud of you and the accomplishments and memories you have made over the past week. May you treasure this adventure in your hearts for years to come. May the achievement of the goals you set for yourself be a reminder to you that with God all things are possible.
PS. If any of the Pacific Grace have pictures of their crew, their last group photo or the title page from the log book, please email them to me and I will add them to the blog. These pictrues are showing up at the bottom on the SALTS home page for some reason instead of this blog post.
We will figure out a way to share all of our photos at school next week.
