SALTS 2023 - Day 1
Our adventure began with an easy flight followed by a drive to the breakwater at Ogden Point. We then spent an hour walking the breakwater and beach combing. We then boarded the Pacific Grace and soon headed out into the channel. We spent the afternoon setting the sails, learning 6 different knots, and eventually dropped anchor in Varnaez Cove on Saturna Island. It has been a long, great day. We did not have wifi or cell service in this cove so could not post until we left the cove Tuesday.
