Day 2

This morning we awoke to some sunshine and enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausages, yogurt, and fruit before heading off on our first adventure. We spent two hours at the Scandia Adventure Park enjoying go-carts, mini golf, and arcade games. We went back to the camp for chicken fingers, fries, and veggies. After refueling, we spent the first part of the afternoon playing laser tag in the gym and archery in the field. There was quite a downpour of rain for a while while we played these games, but then the sun shone through and the clouds rolled away just in time for our afternoon at the beach. Several students braved the chilly air and frigid waters but had so much fun. We will soon enjoy dinner, have some free time, play an adventurous evening wide game, and end our day with a campfire with singing and a devotional. It has been a terrific trip and everyone is doing well.
