SALTS: Setting the Sails
We had another amazing day filled with sunshine, wind and lots of fun. After a delicious breakfast and a short sails lesson, we ventured into the dories and rowed to shore on South Pender Island. We hiked for about 1.5 hours to discover an absolutely stunning view of the ocean and surrounding islands. We took 20 minutes for "Quiet Time" to bask in God's creation and listen to what God was saying to us. We returned to the boats famished and enjoyed a great lunch on the decks. We then pulled up the anchors and quickly set the sails for an amazing late afternoon sail. We then enjoyed another delicious meal which we enjoyed while still sailing and as the sun was setting. We have now anchored together in a cozy, quiet cove at Prevost Island in Ellen Bay. The stars are quickly appearing promising a beautiful display of God's creation once again. We are so blessed!
