Junior High Students are Finalists in Watershed Contest
Our grade nine science students (for the first time) all entered a contest, Caring For Our Watershed Project. We submitted 16 projects between our 42 students In the Southern Alberta portion of this international contest, there were 375 project submissions with 751 students represented. Shahana H and Kyla S were selected as one of the top 10 finalists in Southern Alberta. Today, the girls presented their project at the Ralph Klein Park Centre and ended up placing 4th! It was an amazing accomplishment. They won $700 and TCS will also be given $700 to put back into our Science program.
