Grade 6 Edmonton Trip 2025 - Day 2

It was another fantastic concluding day for the 2025 Grade 6 Edmonton trip! The day started with a good breakfast and then we loaded the buses for the Alberta Legislature. Once there, we watched a 4D video about the history of Alberta and its government. Then, we headed into 2 mock legislatures. 6L’s government passed a bill for more days off in the school year, while 6T argued for more field trips. It was awesome to see both groups practice governmental processes and roles. After a Subway lunch, we had tours of the beautiful Legislative building before we headed home. The day was great but we definitely had some tired kids by the end - take a look at the last few pictures to see the energy in the room captured by a parent :) Thank-you to our awesome parent chaperones for a fun-filled two days!
