We Celebrated an Awesome First Day with a New Theme
How blessed we are at TCS to have such a strong community of believers as we start a new year together! Today was one very special day:
- we saw so many smiles as the students (and the parents!) came into the school this morning
- we had a full house at Chapel including so many of our new families (45 new families with 60 students)
- our Vice Principal, Jon Roper, and Executive Director, Mike Humphries, introduced our theme of the year, I AM. This year we will focus on getting our students to know they are loved, forgiven and strong because of their identity in Christ.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14a
- Pastor Matt, a TCS parent, prayed a blessing over us.
- Mike Humphries reminded us of all the new things we are thankful for this year including the new change rooms, the resurfaced outdoor basketball court, new soccer nets, but most of all how much our staff loves and prayers over our students.

- Cobs & Dogs was also a big success:
- great weather again this year to enjoy the new soccer nets and the obstacle course
- so many of our TCS community and some of our alumni in attendance
- great food served up by our Board Members and Executive Director
We hope everyone enjoyed their first day of school and we look forward to a fantastic new year as we learn to know we are loved, forgiven and strong because our our identity in Christ.
