Thanks to an anonymous donor we have a BUDDY BENCH on our playground now.
What a wonderful idea!
It is a simple but powerful idea that helps encourage friendships and eliminate loneliness. It's also a great place to sit to meet up with friends. Please encourage your children to use the bench if they are looking for someone to play with or to invite someone to play with them if there is someone sitting there.
It’s a way to make new friends, try new activities and to make sure we’re all part of the same community, getting along and being inclusive.
