Easter Service
On Thursday, students took part in a slightly different Easter assembly. With their buddies, students circulated through 4 Easter stations (Forgiveness, Separation, Sacrifice, Service) that outlined different topics in the Easter story. Each station had a theme based out of an event from Easter weekend, which included a short write-up on the theme, a reflection or discussion question, a variety of verses on the theme, and a small take-away token to remind them of that station. The fifth and last station took place in the gym as a group, where we discussed the hope that we have in Jesus, and followed this with some worship lead by our Jr High Praise Team. Mrs. Duimel wrapped up the assembly, and students could take a piece of brick home with them to remind them that the wall between them and God had been destroyed when Jesus died for them.
