Yesterday we remembered all those who have served so that we may be free.
Chapel began with our Junior High drama class performing vignettes of war events - writing letters to their loved ones, rolling up clothes to be used as bandages and pinning medals on war heroes.
Our grade 1 classes, led by Mrs Munton and Mrs Croteau, recited the poem In Flanders Field.
Our grade 2 class, led by Ms. Budd, presented a booklet they completed in class called Why We Remember.
Thank you to all who brought in items for the Veterans Food Bank. There is still time to send in donations. They will be picked up on Wednesday morning.
