Welcome to our New Staff

Please give a warm welcome to our newest staff members who have recently joined us.  We also had new staff members join us at the beginning of the school year.  If you missed our article on them, click here to "meet" them as well.

Lorraine Deemter: Grade 5 Educational Assistant
(left)

Hello TCS family. My name is Lorraine Deemter and I have been a part of this community for 17 years. My four kids went to school here and once they left I came on as a substitute EA and now serve as an EA in grade 5. This has been a career change for me and I'm just loving being with young students again. With three of my four kids being adults, I have realized how important it was for them to be a part of a caring and supportive community that also nurtured their faith. It has provided them with a firm foundation as they journey in the plans God has prepared for them. I pray God will use me to provide this for your student also, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to continue in the mission of TCS."To prepare God's children for a life of learning and service in His world. By the grace of God, in partnership with the Christian home and church, we will lead children to be the best they can be for God's Glory".

Carlynn Duimel: Grade 5 Educational Assistant
(middle)

Hello TCS community! I am so excited for my first year of working at Trinity as a grade 5 Educational Assistant! I am a TCS alum and attended Trinity from grades 6 – 9 and am so happy to be back in the familiar hallways with all the incredible staff and students.
Right after high school, I attended Bodenseehof Bible School (Torchbearers) in a little town in Germany called Friedrichshafen, and while there, had the opportunity to go on little outreaches in various towns to visit and experience local churches and elementary schools.
I am currently a third-year student at Ambrose University majoring in English Literature. After I graduate at the end of this school year, I plan to pursue my Bachelor of Education to become a teacher. I am very much looking forward to all this year holds for Trinity and its entire community!

Lara Kozan: Events Coordinator
(right)

Hello TCS community! My name is Lara Kozan and I am coming on as the new Event Coordinator this year. My formal education is in journalism and public relations, but life has lead me more along the lines of marketing, event planning and baking.  I am excited to join the team this year and really dive into the community event side of things that we have all missed so much over the past couple of years. We were made to be together and live in community and I look forward to getting to know you all and creating some spaces and events that allow relationships and belonging to flourish.

I am happily married to my husband Mike of 18 years and have two teenage daughters named Abby and Lilah (who is in Grade 8 here at TCS) and one dog named Clementine that drives me crazy!
