Kindness Matters
A little bit of kindness goes a long way…
This Friday is National Random Acts of Kindness Day; however, the Junior High Leadership students have dedicated this entire week to random acts of kindness while trying to raise $500 toward a local charity.
To kick off the week a few of our junior high students brought sweets and notes full of words of encouragement to Mrs. Wenzel and Mr. Dykshoorn. How sweet!
Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta's Random Acts of Kindness Day are sponsoring this event. Participation in #RAKdayCFLSA means we have a chance to win a $500 Kindness Grant. Winners and their chosen charities will be drawn through a random draw for 10 winners and they will be announced on Giving Tuesday, which takes place on December 1 this year.
To be eligible we will be posting photos on social media of our students being kind to others. Watch for posts on Instagram @tcskidscalgary and Facebook @tcskids.
