Hello,
I am excited to have my full attention on supporting our learning community again this year as a Learning Support Teacher. This will be my 22nd year at TCS. I started out teaching in grade 1, but have also taught Kindergarten, grade 5 and some junior high options. For over 15 of those years, I have been working in Resource (now called Learning Support). I love to support students with unique challenges! I am blessed that God has called me to serve his children in this role.
Outside of school, I have a life as a wife and mother. My husband's name is Mike. We have been married for 36 years. My children are all grown - Matt, Zac and Alyssa. Zac is married to a beautiful woman, Kierra. They are very soon expecting their first baby - my first grandchild! You might know my daughter, Alyssa, as Miss Stasko because she is an Educational Assistant at TCS in junior high.
The best way to get ahold of me is usually by email: sandy.stasko@pallisersd.ab.ca. I will try to respond to you in a timely manner, however I do receive many emails and sometimes a request is missed. If you don't receive a reply, try to resend or call me. My usual office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some Fridays. If you have concerns about your child's learning, I would be happy to meet with you. I would prefer to set an appointment during my regular working hours (8:15-3:45), but can also meet after school if those times don't work for you.
