Trinity Eagles Sports Report - Badminton
The Trinity Badminton season has recently come to a conclusion and our Eagle Athletes soared to a very successful finish by capturing the CISAA Badminton Championship Banner for the 14th year in a row!! Points are awarded to each team that places in the top 4 at the tournament and we had 26 athletes who accomplished that honor. All the athletes trained hard and many had successful matches at the tournament. Congratulations to all athletes who competed and showed large improvements from the beginning of the season.
Four athletes won the right to represent Trinity at the South Central Zone Championships in Calgary on May 2nd . Congratulations to Alayna Deemter and Coutney Thomas for their first place result, along with Lea Barnard and Carlynn Duimel who finished second in the singles categories. Congratulations athletes!
I would like to send out a big Thank-you to Joyce Verhoeff for all of her work in helping coach Badminton once again this season. Her expertise helped bring Trinity Christian School its’ 14th straight CISAA Championship Banner!
